Logistics Manager – Order Life Cycle

We’re working with a leading FMCG business that’s home to some of the UK’s most iconic food brands. As they continue their ambitious growth journey, they’re looking to hire an experienced Logistics & Order Life Cycle Manager to lead a vital function within their Central Supply Chain team.
This role is based at the East Midlands site, where you’ll manage a team of 10, overseeing the full order management process to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service for customers.
The Role
- Lead and manage the end-to-end order life cycle process , ensuring orders are processed accurately and dispatched with 100% fulfilment.
- Manage and develop a team of 10 through coaching, performance reviews, succession planning, and cultural development.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Supply Chain, Sales) and external partners to deliver seamless operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, driving efficiency across systems and workflows.
- Act as the main point of contact for 3PL providers, monitoring KPIs and ensuring high standards are consistently met.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in order management, customer service or logistics, ideally in FMCG or 3PL environments.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing and managing high-performing teams.
- Strong technical skills in ERP systems (e.g., JDE or similar), Excel, and data reporting tools (Power BI, Click).
- A proactive and solution-focused approach, with a passion for driving continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
