What You’ll Do as a Retail Operations Learning Specialist (Global)

Skills

  • Partner with Retail Operations, Franchise, Health & Safety, and P&C stakeholders to translate business priorities into clear learning strategies and plans.
  • Design, deliver, and embed global learning initiatives consistently across markets, ensuring alignment with Primark standards.
  • Develop and implement a globally consistent approach to compliance and mandatory learning, with appropriate localisation.
  • Provide expert L&D support to Franchise teams and partners, building capability and strengthening alignment to standards.
  • Create, maintain, and scale relevant learning solutions and pathways, collaborating with subject matter experts and managing LMS compliance tracking and reporting.
  • Monitor learning data and drive insights, communications, and continuous improvement while ensuring alignment with business needs and legal requirements.

  • 5+ years’ experience in Learning & Development, Retail Operations, or a related field, ideally within a retail or multi-site environment.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations and the ability to translate operational needs into practical, scalable learning solutions.
  • Proven experience coordinating learning programmes or large-scale initiatives across multiple stakeholders and markets.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements, learning governance, and operational capability development, with experience using LMS platforms and digital authoring tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Highly organised, analytical, and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, evolving environments.
