What will the HR Advisor role involve?
- Providing day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees across the business
- Supporting the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, absence management and offboarding
- Advising on performance management, disciplinary and grievance matters, ensuring best practice and compliance with employment legislation
- Maintaining accurate HR records, systems and reporting data
- Assisting with payroll administration and ensuring employee data integrity
- Supporting employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing activities
- Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the site
Suitable Candidate for the HR Advisor vacancy
- CIPD Level 5 qualified, or equivalent
- Proven experience within a generalist HR Advisory role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Confident handling employee relations matters and supporting managers
- Experience working with HR systems and producing HR reports
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Previous experience within manufacturing, engineering or a similar operational environment would be advantageous
