Your new role
The Group HR Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the HR Department across the organisation. The role encompasses employee relations, recruitment, performance management, training & development and compliance with current employment laws. The Group HR Manager ensures that HR policies and procedures are kept up to date and aligned with organisational goals, fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
What You'll Need To Succeed
- Disciplinary & Grievance Management β Collaborate with Managers to address disciplinary actions and grievance issues, ensuring all formal meetings are documented accurately.
- HR Support & Advice β Provide day-to-day HR guidance to managers on all HR related queries.
- Policy Development β Create, maintain, and update HR Policies, Employee Handbook and Data Protection related documentation.
- Employee Records Management β Maintain and administer all HR employee records and HR forms.
- Absence Management β Oversee staff absences by maintaining an absence log and conducting back-to-work interviews.
- Training Management β To ensure employee training certificates are logged and kept up to date, sourcing and arranging additional training where required.
- Recruitment Process Management β Manage recruitment efforts by drafting job descriptions, liaising with recruitment agencies when required, placing advertisements, arranging interviews, guiding managers on interview questions and assisting in decision-making.
- New Starter & Leaver Process β Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing contracts and employment forms, conducting inductions, and confirming resignation and leaver details.
- Probation Process Administration β Administer the probation review process, ensuring that managers are informed of review meeting schedules.
- Payroll Preparation β Compile and organise essential documentation for payroll processing, such as new starter information, leaver details, pay changes and absence records.
- Holiday Management β Oversee holiday requests and maintain a central holiday calendar for all employees.
- Risk Assessment Coordination β Ensure that Workstation Risk Assessments are carried out annually.
- Any other tasks which may be requested by the CEO, Managing Director, or Group Finance Manager.
- To undertake training as required to develop & maintain personal skills to fulfil the above to the required standards.
