Lead HR Business Partner – Plymouth – 6-Month Contract – £28.95PH PAYE – Inside IR35

We are looking for a lead Human Resource Business Partner who can demonstrate strong patterning skills and provide strong guidance and direction.

This is a hybrid working role with 3 days required in the office.

The post holder will need to be comfortable working at a tactical and strategic level and have a breadth of HR experience with a strong understanding of change management, a dynamic approach to work, displaying a high degree of curiosity and proactivity, collaborating with the team and senior leaders.

You will be committed to building strong, effective relationships with people at all levels and creating a culture that makes people proud to work for our business.

You will be able to demonstrate a specialised depth and breadth of expertise to undertake complex assignments, solve complex problems using innovative solutions as well as interpreting business challenges and provide technical leadership and direction to more junior roles.

Aligning to our clients People Strategy and Sector programme plan for delivery, you will be empowered to manage your own work and deliver presented opportunities which will include work across your allocated Portfolio, the broader business and sector on projects and initiatives in relation to key people priorities.

Day-to-day, you’ll take a leading role in designing and delivering people strategies that drive organisational success.

Be accountable for the delivery of the HR Agenda, development as requested, including change management/ performance improvement.

Act as the HR representative in cross-functional forums, contributing to organisational priorities.

Partner with senior leaders to design and deliver people strategies aligned with business objectives.

Support managers in planning and executing change initiatives.

Lead strategic workforce planning to meet future skills and capability needs.

Continuous improvement through progressive HR practices and initiatives.

Skills and Experience

  • Significant HR experience within large or complex organisations
  • Proven track record of delivering strategic HR initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Ability to lead and support organisational change and performance improvement
  • Commercial awareness with capability to design pragmatic, business-focused solutions
  • Skilled at working through complexity with integrity, collaboration, and resilience

Qualifications

Degree or Level 7 HR qualification (or equivalent experience) CIPD membership and recent CPD (preferred)
