We're looking for an experienced People Administrator to join a busy and supportive People team on an interim hourly rate contract, with an immediate start preferred.

Hourly Rate: £16 - £20 per hour (depending on experience)Location: South West London, with hybrid working 1 day office

This is a varied HR administration role, supporting the wider People team across the full employee lifecycle.

You'll play a key role in recruitment and onboarding, HR systems administration, payroll changes, employee records, absence management and first-line HR support, ensuring an efficient and seamless employee experience.

Working within a national charity/not-for-profit organisation, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate, responsive HR administration while helping to continuously improve people processes and ways of working.

You'll bring

  • Proven experience in an HR Administrator or People Administrator role.
  • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding and pre-employment checks, including Right to Work and DBS.
  • Strong HR administration experience across the employee life-cycle.
  • Experience using HRIS systems and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Experience processing payroll changes, contractual amendments and employee life-cycle administration.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence providing first-line HR support to managers and employees.
  • A good understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Experience supporting absence management, Occupational Health referrals, family leave administration and employee relations would be advantageous.
  • CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent experience) would be desirable but is not essential.
