We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an Employee Relations Specialist to join a fast-paced HR Shared Services team in Northampton.
Paying up to £40,000 p/a and offering hybrid working, this opportunity will suit someone with at least a few years experience in a high volume employee relations experience, confident in building relationships with stakeholders of all levels.
Duties Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Providing first-class specialist advice and guidance on high-volume Employee Relations matters to colleagues, managers and senior leaders
- Partnering with managers and senior leaders to coach them towards effective outcomes and resolutions of ER issues
- Logging advisory calls on a CRM tool and ensuring advice is commercial, impartial, consistent, legally compliant and aligned to company policies
- Managing dispute resolution casework end-to-end, including disciplinaries, appeals and grievances
- Managing long-term sickness and medical review cases across an allocated region or business area
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of Employee Relations policies, guidelines and template letters
- Supporting ER-related business projects and, where required, attending complex hearings or meetings
About You
- At least two years’ experience in an HR role, with experience handling ER cases such as disciplinaries, grievances, appeals and long-term sickness
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and handle complex cases remotelyli>Strong organisation, administration and planning skills, with up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and data protection principles
