Total Rewards & HR Generalist
Location: Newport, UK salary: Up to £55,000 per annum working pattern: Hybrid (4 days in the office, 1 day working from home)
About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Total Rewards & HR Generalist to join our growing HR team.
This role combines strategic and operational responsibilities across compensation and benefits, employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, and HR operations.
The successful candidate will partner with leaders and employees across multiple countries, helping to deliver a positive employee experience while ensuring compliance with local employment regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Total Rewards
- Administer regional compensation and benefits programs.
- Partner with internal stakeholders on salary benchmarking, market analysis, compensation reviews, and incentive programs.
- Coordinate annual salary review cycles, promotions, and bonus administration.
- Support benefits renewals and employee communications.
- Ensure compensation and benefits practices remain compliant with applicable legislation and market standards.
- Prepare compensation, workforce, and HR-related analytics and reports.
- Human Resources
- Serve as a trusted HR partner to employees and managers across multiple locations.
- Advise managers on employee relations matters, performance management, coaching, and employee development.
- Support recruitment activities, including job postings, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation.
- Manage employee lifecycle processes, including hires, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR system data while ensuring confidentiality.
- Coordinate performance review processes and talent development programs.
- Lead employee engagement, recognition, and culture initiatives.
- Support the implementation of global and regional HR programs and policies.
- Compliance & HR Operations
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.
- Maintain employment documentation and personnel records.
- Support audits, reporting requirements, and policy administration.
- Assist with workplace health and safety initiatives where applicable.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with business leaders and global stakeholders to deliver HR solutions that support organizational goals.
- Participate in regional and global HR projects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and standardization of HR processes while respecting local requirements and practices.
