Very excited to share that we're recruiting for a HR Advisor on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working on a full-time basis, in Newmarket.
Role
If you love variety and no two days being the same, this should capture your interest as your role will have lead responsibility for the following designated specialist areas:
- Recruitment - end-to-end recruitment, working closely with managers, onboarding and pre-employment checks.
- Apprenticeships - lead for apprenticeship programmes, monitoring compliance, funding requirements and progress reviews.
- Learning & Development - coordinate learning initiatives, training programmes and development activities.
- Immigration & Visa administration - lead on sponsorships, secondments and visa-related HR processes, compliance, monitoring and reporting.
- Employee relations casework - advising and supporting managers on disciplinary, capability, grievance, absence and conduct matters, whilst also supporting formal processes including investigations, hearings and appeals.
You'll be providing first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on employment matters, policies and procedures, whilst also delivering a responsive, high-quality HR service, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
If you have experience in a HR generalist/advisory role and sound knowledge of UK employment law and best practice, we'd love to hear from you!
Experience In ER Casework, Recruitment And Onboarding Is Essential.
Ideally, you'll have CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience and have supported apprenticeship programmes, L&D activities along with having visa's and sponsorship knowledge.
Finally, you'll be solution focused, proactive and collaborative!
