The Role

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our UK HR team based in Canary Wharf. This role will support the HR department with day-to-day operations, recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives across our UK retail stores and head office. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in Human Resources within a dynamic, fast-paced, and internationally recognised organisation. This is an initial 6-month part-time internship based in our Canary Wharf office. Subject to business needs and individual performance, there may be an opportunity to extend the internship beyond the initial six-month period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with creating and posting job advertisements across multiple recruitment platforms.
  • Review CVs and support candidate shortlisting.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Support recruitment events, assessment days, and new store opening recruitment campaigns.
  • Assist with onboarding and induction activities to ensure a positive new starter experience.

Recruitment Administration

  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate databases.
  • Prepare recruitment documentation, including offer letters and onboarding packs.
  • Assist with right to work, reference checks, and other pre-employment screening.
  • Update recruitment trackers and reports to support hiring activities and HR metrics.

Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

  • Support initiatives that strengthen POP MART's employer brand.
  • Contribute ideas to improve the candidate journey and recruitment experience.
  • Ensure timely, professional, and engaging communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Requirements

  • Currently studying or recently graduated in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • A genuine interest in building a career within Human Resources.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive, positive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Full right to work in the UK.
