Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and updating employee records within the HR system
  • Supporting monthly payroll processes and liaising with external providers
  • Producing regular HR reports, MI and workforce analytics
  • Assisting with onboarding, employee changes and leaver processes
  • Supporting compensation, benefits and annual salary review activity
  • Responding to employee and manager HR queries
  • Assisting with HR projects, system enhancements and process improvements
  • Supporting policy reviews and ensuring compliance with employment legislation
  • Contributing to audit activities and maintaining HR documentation

A specialist insurance organisation is seeking an HR Operations Assistant to join its People team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Your new role

Reporting into the HR leadership team, you\'ll support the delivery of a high-quality HR service across the employee lifecycle, with responsibilities including:

  • Maintaining and updating employee records within the HR system
  • Supporting monthly payroll processes and liaising with external providers
  • Producing regular HR reports, MI and workforce analytics
  • Assisting with onboarding, employee changes and leaver processes
  • Supporting compensation, benefits and annual salary review activity

  • What You\'ll Need To Succeed
  • Previous HR Operations or HR Administration experience
  • Experience working within financial services, insurance, regulated or professional services environments
  • Strong HR systems experience, ideally including Hi Bob or a similar HRIS
  • Exposure to payroll administration and employee data management
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills
  • Good knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR compliance
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements
