Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for employee relations and developing people managers? We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded HR Advisor to join our Tewkesbury HR team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this influential role, you will advise managers across the site, provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, support the resolution of complex people challenges, and build leadership capability through coaching and development. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact within a manufacturing environment where people, continuous improvement, and collaboration are central to our success.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role:

  • Provide pragmatic and timely advice to managers on a wide range of ER and HR issues including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability, and flexible working.
  • Working in conjunction with the relevant managers, effectively support ER case management in a proactive and commercially focused manner. This may include drafting relevant documentation relating to the case, carrying out investigations and providing effective advice throughout the process.
  • Using both ER metrics and employee/manager feedback, analyse formal and informal ER issues to understand root causes and identify solutions for remedy or improvement.
  • Coach managers to ensure that management of ER matters is in line with current legislation and Moog policy and processes while remaining commercially appropriate.
  • Work with the site HRBP to build leadership capability and enhance managers’ understanding of employment legislation and best practice in support of positive employee relations.
  • Support in the delivery of interventions such as workshops and coaching to address skills and knowledge gaps.
  • Act as the HR representative within the Employee Communications Council to advise on issues raised and support activities to improve employee engagement.
  • Active involvement in continuous improvement activities in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness of our HR processes in line with best practice.

Requirements For The Role:

  • At least 3 years’ proven experience in providing generalist HR advice and hands-on experience in managing employee relations cases across all areas.
  • Solid knowledge of employment law, compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record in coaching and developing managers in all matters of ER.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and on multiple projects or cases at a time.
  • Customer focused and able to apply commercial focus and legislative knowledge to real situations in a business environment.
  • Flexibility to support across varied shift patterns.
  • Ability to sustain a working environment and behaviours that support the Company’s culture and values.
  • Desirable - CIPD qualified (Minimum Level 5) and/or a related degree.
  • Desirable – Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
