We are seeking an experienced

Senior HR Manager to join a complex manufacturing operation employing over 400 people.

Reporting directly to the General Manager and forming part of the Site Leadership Team, you will lead the HR function and support the business through a period of operational and cultural transformation.

  • Salary circa £85k + Benefits
  • Hereford location - 5 Days on site

This is a highly visible role within a unionised, metrics-driven environment, requiring a hands‑on HR leader who can coach senior managers, drive accountability, strengthen employee relations, and support organisational change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all site HR activities and develop a small HR team.
  • Partner with senior leaders to improve performance and people capability.
  • Manage employee relations within a unionised environment.
  • Support change programmes, workforce planning and organisational development.
  • Drive improvements in attendance, performance and leadership effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with HR processes, controls and audits.

About You

  • Proven HR leadership experience within manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments.
  • Strong employee relations and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable influencing and challenging senior leaders.
  • Experience leading change and developing management capability.
  • CIPD qualification preferred.
