FTC - 12 months / Full Time Burton-on-Trent - Hybrid working Up to £42,000 + benefits
I'm looking to speak with experienced HR Advisors for a brilliant opportunity within a large, growing organisation. This is a busy, hands-on generalist role where you'll work closely with the HR team and support managers across the business.
There's a real focus on Employee Relations, so you'll need to be comfortable taking ownership of your own caseload and confidently advising managers through a range of people matters.
What will you be getting involved in?
- Managing ER cases including absence, performance, capability, disciplinary and grievance
- Coaching and advising managers on HR policy, employment law and best practice
- Supporting formal meetings and more complex employee matters
- Occupational Health referrals and absence management
- Supporting change including restructures, redundancy and TUPE
- Getting involved in wider HR projects across engagement, wellbeing and talent
- Working closely with the wider HR team to identify trends and continuously improve the employee experience
I'm looking for someone who already has experience operating at HR Advisor level, particularly around ER, and is confident building relationships with and challenging managers when needed. Ideally you’ll be CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards, although equivalent hands‑on experience is absolutely worth a conversation.
