  • Managing employee relations matters, including absence, performance, conduct, wellbeing and flexible working requests.
  • Supporting the full employee life cycle, from onboarding and probation management through to offboarding and exit processes.
  • Providing guidance on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records, HR systems and documentation.
  • Supporting recruitment activity, interview coordination and new starter administration.
  • Producing HR reports and people-related management information.
  • Monitoring absence trends and supporting return-to-work processes.
  • Contributing to HR projects, employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing programmes.
  • Reviewing and implementing improvements to employee benefits, reward and recognition initiatives to support employee retention.
  • What you'll need to succeed
  • CIPD Level 7 qualified.
  • Previous experience in a generalist HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience managing employee relations cases and providing HR advice to managers.
  • Proven experience across onboarding, offboarding, performance management, absence management and policy development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience using HR systems, Microsoft 365 and Share Point.
  • A professional, approachable and confidential approach to handling sensitive matters.
  • Experience within a professional services, legal, financial services, accountancy or similar office-based environment would be advantageous.
