HR Administrator to join a well-established business in South Manchester.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive HR team where you'll have real ownership of the HR administration function and play a key role in delivering an excellent employee experience.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you'll support the full employee lifecycle, taking responsibility for onboarding, offboarding, contracts, HR systems, payroll changes and employee documentation.

You'll manage the HR inbox, respond to employee queries, coordinate inductions, maintain accurate HR records and support managers with probation, absence and day-to-day HR administration.

This is a busy, hands-on role where no two days are the same.

You'll also have the opportunity to get involved in recruitment support, employee events, HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and taking ownership of their work.

What We're Looking For

  • Around 12-18 months' HR administration experience.
  • Experience supporting the employee lifecycle, including starters and leavers.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Someone who can work independently, use their initiative and confidently manage their own workload.
  • A positive, approachable team player who's happy to get involved and support the wider business when needed.
  • Experience using HR systems is desirable, and a CIPD qualification (or a desire to study) would be an advantage.

What's on offer

  • Salary of £28,000 - £30,000, depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working (typically one day a week from home, with flexibility around business needs).
  • Study support towards CIPD.
  • A genuinely supportive HR team with plenty of variety and exposure across all areas of HR.
  • Long-term development opportunities as the team continues to grow and evolve.

This role would suit an ambitious HR Administrator looking for a business where they can take ownership, build strong relationships and become a valued member of a close-knit HR team.

If you're organised, proactive and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
