The Talent Set are delighted to partner with this fantastic public sector client looking for an interim PR Manager role. This position involves leading high-profile communications, campaigns, and events to promote transformation projects, engaging diverse audiences across the city and working with a range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement multi-channel communication strategies that effectively share updates and progress on the urban transformation projects.
  • Coordinate and oversee the delivery of events and media engagements, ensuring impactful coverage and visibility for the initiative.
  • Manage relationships with journalists, broadcasters, and external partners to generate positive media exposure and manage reactive media queries.
  • Lead on social media campaigns, working with digital content creators and influencers to broaden reach and engagement.
  • Prepare clear, engaging content including press releases, speeches, newsletters, blogs, and social media posts aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Monitor campaign and event performance using KPIs, producing post-event reports and analytics to measure success.
  • Oversee budget planning and resource allocation to ensure efficient delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver consistent messaging and high-quality outputs.
  • Anticipate and manage potential reputational risks, supporting crisis communication when necessary.
