The Talent Set are delighted to be partnering with a fantastic charity to recruit a Fundraising Officer. This exciting role will support the delivery and growth of the charity’s fundraising activity, helping to build strong relationships with supporters, develop fundraising opportunities, and maximise income. You will play a key role in delivering engaging fundraising activity, providing excellent supporter stewardship, and helping to grow long-term support for the charity’s work.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with supporters, fundraisers, community groups, and other fundraising stakeholders, providing excellent supporter care.
- Support the delivery of fundraising campaigns and activities, helping to maximise income and engagement.
- Identify and develop new fundraising opportunities, working proactively to recruit and engage new supporters.
- Provide guidance, advice, and resources to fundraisers to help them achieve their fundraising goals and have a positive experience.
- Deliver engaging supporter communications, stewardship activity, and impact updates to encourage retention and long-term support.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, monitor fundraising activity and income, and provide regular updates on performance.
- Support fundraising events and activities, representing the charity and building positive relationships with supporters and stakeholders.
Person Specification
- Some experience within fundraising, supporter engagement, community engagement, sales, customer service, or another relationship-focused role.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a wide range of audiences.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proactive and enthusiastic, with a genuine interest in developing fundraising opportunities and building supporter relationships.
- Confident working independently while also contributing positively to a wider team.
