Contract Type: Full time Monday to Friday

We provide exceptional residential care for children and young people across the UK, especially those who have experienced trauma. With new homes opening this year and further growth planned for 2026, we are looking for an experienced Responsible Individual to join our senior leadership team.

We use the PACE model to create safe, caring environments where children feel secure and valued. Each of our homes has its own permanent on-site therapist and a pool car. We offer specialist care for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities. With 4 homes open, 2 more due this Autumn, and further homes planned for 2026, this is an exciting time to be part of our journey.

The Role

As a Responsible Individual, you'll be the driving force behind high-quality care, ensuring compliance, safeguarding, and outstanding outcomes for children. You'll work closely with our Registered Managers and senior leadership team to shape services, develop staff, and embed a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee multiple children's homes, ensuring full Ofsted compliance.
  • Support and mentor Registered Managers to deliver child-centred, therapeutic care.
  • Monitor and drive performance through effective quality assurance.
  • Contribute to service development, training, and strategic growth.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and staffing structures.

What you'll bring

  • Experience as a Responsible Individual within children's residential care.
  • In-depth knowledge of legislation (Children's Homes Regulations & Quality Standards 2015).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Enhanced DBS and a full UK driving licence.
