This is a standalone position within the wider HR team, offering the opportunity to lead and shape the organisation’s reward and benefits strategy. The role involves collaborating across the business to design a comprehensive total rewards strategy, addressing both organisational goals and employee needs. By engaging with People Partners and Operations teams, you’ll ensure that feedback is incorporated into policies and programs while delivering solutions that balance business priorities with employee satisfaction.
This pivotal role will also be responsible for delivering a robust job family framework, refreshing the grading structure, and ensuring the organisation’s employment offerings are market-competitive across multiple countries. You’ll establish reward governance structures, review policies, and provide strategic advice to senior leadership, directly contributing to an exceptional employee experience.
Key Accountabilities
- Total Rewards Strategy: Lead the design, implementation, and communication of competitive, performance-based reward and benefits programs aligned with organisational objectives.
- Policy Execution: Oversee the effective execution of reward and benefits processes in line with policies and standard operating procedures.
- Market Benchmarking: Conduct market research to ensure total rewards offerings remain competitive and reflective of current trends.
- Job Architecture: Develop and implement a job architecture framework defining job families, levels, and titles, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Job Grading: Establish a job grading system based on factors like complexity, skills, and responsibilities, ensuring alignment with market standards.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, such as Finance, to execute holistic total rewards strategies.
- Governance & Leadership Support: Establish reward governance structures, advise PCC leadership, and contribute to policy development.
- Employee Advocacy: Act as a champion for the organisation’s culture, behaviours, and vision by fostering a positive workplace experience.
