Contract Period: 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2027 (12 months)

Working Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:30am–6:00pm | Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm

About the Role

We are placing a Research Assistant on a 12-month contract with the Character and Citizenship Education (CCE) Branch of the Ministry of Education Singapore. The successful candidate will support research evaluation projects — including Mid-Term and Full-Term reviews — through data collection, analysis, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyse data and feedback from schools and stakeholders on CCE research evaluation projects
  • Develop and manage surveys, focus group discussions, and stakeholder interviews
  • Code and verify quantitative and qualitative data in accordance with established research protocols
  • Document research processes, monitor project progress, and provide regular status updates
  • Engage meaningfully with diverse stakeholders across the education ecosystem

Requirements

  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Psychology, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in research, data analytics, or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
  • Working knowledge of statistical or analytical software (e.g., Tableau, SPSS, R, or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem‑solving skills
  • Meticulous, with the ability to manage multiple projects independently and within tight timelines
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement
