About the Role
We are placing a Research Assistant on a 12-month contract with the Character and Citizenship Education (CCE) Branch of the Ministry of Education Singapore. The successful candidate will support research evaluation projects — including Mid-Term and Full-Term reviews — through data collection, analysis, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse data and feedback from schools and stakeholders on CCE research evaluation projects
- Develop and manage surveys, focus group discussions, and stakeholder interviews
- Code and verify quantitative and qualitative data in accordance with established research protocols
- Document research processes, monitor project progress, and provide regular status updates
- Engage meaningfully with diverse stakeholders across the education ecosystem
Requirements
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Psychology, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in research, data analytics, or a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
- Working knowledge of statistical or analytical software (e.g., Tableau, SPSS, R, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem‑solving skills
- Meticulous, with the ability to manage multiple projects independently and within tight timelines
- Good interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement
