About The Role
As the Business Development Executive, you will be part of the partnerships function responsible for building new client pipelines, supporting commercial activations, and ensuring strong client satisfaction that drives repeat business. You will work closely with senior partnership leaders to convert opportunities into active projects and ensure smooth collaboration across internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Pipeline Development
- Research and identify potential clients across multiple industries.
- Map key decision‑makers and organizational structures.
- Drive outbound prospecting through digital outreach, referrals, and internal databases.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and track lead progression.
- Support senior team members with early‑stage outreach, proposal preparation, and coordination.
- Sales Activation Support
- Co‑develop proposals and pitch materials with the partnerships team.
- Coordinate with strategy and creator‑related teams to align with client briefs.
- Prepare timelines, talent recommendations, and supporting documents for presentations.
- Participate in partnership calls, document key actions, and ensure timely follow‑through.
- Campaign & Client Servicing Support
- Work with internal operations teams to ensure deliverables remain on schedule.
- Maintain regular client touchpoints, manage minor updates, and monitor satisfaction.
- Gather post‑campaign results and assist in developing case studies.
- Internal Process & Reporting
- Provide weekly updates on pipeline status and lead progression.
- Track individual performance metrics through CRM dashboards.
Qualifications Experience Required:
- Strong understanding of social platforms, digital behaviour, and online trends.
- Minimum 2 years in a client‑facing or commercial role.
- Experience in Sales Development Representative (SDR) roles or similar business development functions.
- Background in media, digital, or technology‑related industries is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, close attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Come from a creative marketing agency is highly desirable.
Education/Qualification
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Additional training in sales, digital marketing, or CRM systems will be advantageous.
