Role Overview
The Talent People is representing our client - a publicly listed consumer financial services group with a strong retail footprint across Singapore and the region - in the search for a detail‑oriented and technically grounded Assistant MIS Manager to join our team. You will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology, leading requirements gathering, system coordination, and operational reporting — all while ensuring our core platforms run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis & Technical Coordination
- Lead stakeholder sessions to gather, analyse, and document requirements for system enhancements, new implementations, and automation projects.
- Translate business needs into Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Use Cases, and Process Flows (BPMN).
- Conduct As-Is / To-Be workflow analysis and gap assessments, recommending practical technical or procedural solutions.
- Project Coordination & Solution Delivery
- Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test script creation.
- Prepare user manuals, conduct training, and manage stakeholder expectations during system rollouts.
- Act as the functional liaison with external software vendors, holding them accountable to scope and SLAs.
- MIS Operations & Data Management
- Monitor the health and integrity of core business applications including ERP, POS, CRM, and Loan Management Systems.
- Design and maintain management dashboards and reports to support decision‑making across business entities.
- Serve as the Tier‑2 escalation point for complex functional issues beyond Level 1 support.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an MIS or Business Analyst role.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong grasp of systems architecture, APIs, integrations, and databases.
- Technical proficiency in SQL for data verification and analysis.
- Proficient with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Teams Planner, or Azure Boards.
- Excellent communication skills — able to convey technical topics clearly to non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
- Experience working within global or geographically dispersed teams.
Preferred
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum certification (or equivalent).
- Familiarity with data governance, system security, and infrastructure fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud applications, workflow automation, or BI/reporting dashboards.
- Exposure to security audits, DPTM preparation, or VAPT reviews.
- Background in financial services or multi-branch operations.
- Ability to context‑switch rapidly across different business models.
