About the Role: You will be deployed to support the Character and Citizenship Education Branch at the Ministry of Education, contributing to the design and development of educational resources used across Singapore schools. This is a hands‑on creative role involving both static design and motion/interactive content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Illustration: Create original illustrations and visual concepts aligned to CCE curriculum themes.
- Interactive Resource Development: Design and develop motion graphics, 2D animations, and short‑form videos; create storyboards for interactive educational resources; manage projects related to interactive resource development from brief to delivery.
- Resource Design: Conceptualise and produce infographics, PowerPoint presentation decks, and curriculum support materials; apply design principles, typography, and colour theory consistently across all outputs.
Requirements:
- Diploma or above in Media Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Graphic Designer or in an equivalent creative role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe InDesign, and Canva.
- Experience with motion graphics and/or 2D animation (mandatory — please include in portfolio).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both static and motion design work (portfolio link required at application).
- Proactive, able to multitask, and work independently with minimal supervision.
