About the Role
The Talent People Pte. Ltd. is recruiting qualified Sports Coaches on behalf of Sport Singapore (SportSG) to support the delivery of programmes across ActiveSG Academies & Clubs, SportCares, School Sports Partnership, Junior Sports Academy, Future Leaders Programme, and Nurture Kids. Successful candidates will play an important role in developing sporting competencies, character, and positive values among children, youth, and community participants through structured coaching and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver sport sessions in accordance with SportSG's curriculum and programme objectives.
- Foster positive values such as teamwork, resilience, respect, and sportsmanship among participants.
- Build positive relationships with participants, parents, schools, and community stakeholders.
- Support programme administration, attendance tracking, and reporting requirements.
- Attend programme meetings and training sessions as required.
- Support outreach activities, competitions, school holiday programmes, and community events.
- Participate in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities to maintain and enhance coaching competencies.
Additional Responsibilities for SportCares Programmes:
- Support participants from diverse backgrounds, including at-risk youth and persons with disabilities.
- Apply appropriate behavioural management and participant engagement strategies.
- Adapt coaching approaches to meet varying learning, developmental, and support needs.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Active Provisional NROC Membership (National Registry of Coaches).
- Valid Standard First Aid (SFA) certification.
- Valid Values and Principles in Sport (VPS) certification, or recognised equivalent.
- Safe Sport Certification issued by CoachSG.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English during coaching sessions and stakeholder interactions.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Higher NROC certification levels (Coach, Senior Coach, or Master Coach).
- Experience coaching in schools, academies, clubs, community programmes, or competitive environments.
- Experience working with children, youth, or participants with diverse learning and support needs.
- Additional language proficiency is advantageous.
- Overseas coaching, athlete development, or competition experience.
Engagement Details:
- Hourly-based engagement.
- Coaching rates commensurate with NROC certification level and programme assignment.
- Flexible scheduling across weekdays and weekends, depending on programme requirements.
- Bi-annual performance reviews with incentive eligibility.
- Potential for long-term engagement, with programme contracts currently running through March 2028.
