Ourclientisaleadingandlong-establishedSMEengagedinthecommissioning,designandinstallationofprocessplantpartsandsolutions,aswellasprovidingongoingsupportandaftersalesservice.
ReportingdirectlytotheAfterSalesManager,youwillbeapivotalmemberofthecompanywhilstbeingsupportedeverystepoftheway.
Theremaybesomeoutofhourscover(minimal)andyouwillneedtobephysicallyfitassomelifting/packingisrequired
Skillsandexperiencerequired:
- Tobeaconfidentperson,withexcellentcommunicationskills,bothwrittenandverbalanddevelopcollaborativerelationshipswithfellowteammembers,customersandmanufacturers.
- Representtheorganisationtoprovideexceptionalsolutionstocustomersandexhibitthehigheststandardofvaluesandbehaviours
- Beforwardthinkingandagoodteamplayer
- Betargetdrivenwhilstmaintainingcustomerrelations
- Beacompetenttidyadministratorandhaveaveryhighlevelofaccuracyandattentiontodetail.
- AgoodlevelofITliteracy–MSOfficesuite(Salesforceexperiencewouldbeadistinctadvantage)
- Theabilitytoabsorbandunderstandthecommercialdisciplinesandbeaquicklearner.
- Knowledgeofsparepartsanddrawings,useofmanualsetc.aswellasasolidunderstandingofstockcontrolandstoragesystems.
- Forklifttrucklicencedesirable,buttrainingwillbeprovided.FullUKDrivingLicencerequired.
- Strongorganisationalandplanningabilitiestomanagemultipletasksefficientlyandbeaneffectivetimemanager.
KeyResponsibilities
- Responsibilitiesarea60/40splitbetweenofficeadminandstores
- Take,compileandsendcustomerquotationsandchasewithfollowupcalls.
- AssistAccountswithcreditcontrolqueries.
- Operativetasksincludeensuringproperhandling,storage,andpackingofgoods,andensuredispatchdocumentationisaccuratewithup-to-daterecords.
- Processstockreplenishmentrequestsforvan/site/centralstores,includingconsumablesandPPE.
- Overseethetimelyunloadingofdeliveries,ensuringcompliancewithsafeworkingpractices.
- Beresponsibleforallhealthandsafetywithinthestoresareaandcompleteregularriskassessments.
- Followthegoodsinwardsprocedureforreceivedgoods,addressinganydiscrepanciespromptlytoresolveissuesandmaintainaccuratestockrecords.
- Managepartsreturnsandcreditrequestseffectively.
- Supervisethestorageanddistributionofwarrantypartstoenableclaimsforsupplierandcustomercredits.
- Assisttheservice/engineeringteamwithanyqueries.
- Collaboratewithpartssupplierstoresolvedeliveryissues,processclaims,andreturnswhereapplicable.
- Ensureappropriatecouriersareselectedfordeliveries.
- Managestocklevelsofpackingmaterialstoensureavailabilityalignswithanticipateddemand.
