I am currently working with a leading installer of security related systems based in Northwest London with a growing portfolio of clients in and around London. The company require an additional service engineer to specialise in their gates and barriers division.

The role:

  • In this role you will be responsible for carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance and repairs as needed at customer sites across London and the home counties.
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repair of security items including; gates, barriers, bollards etc.
  • Servicing mechanical, electrical and electromechanical components.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment problems that arise.
  • Providing excellent customer service.

The candidate we are looking for:

  • The successful candidate will be an experienced service engineer, ideally with relevant experience on security gates and barriers and comfortable driving to client sites in and around greater London.
  • Prior experience servicing security gates and barriers.
  • Excellent product knowledge on the leading providers of relevant security items.
  • Ability to carry out mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical servicing and repairs.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Live in or around Northwest London.
  • Available for on-call work at weekends.
  • Very reliable and able to manage own workload.
  • Good communication skills as you will be dealing with customers.
