We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced New Product Development Manager to oversee the creation and launch of new beauty products. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with marketing, research & development, design, and manufacturing teams to bring innovative products from concept to launch. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful development of products that align with our clients' brand vision, meet consumer/customer needs, and maintain their commitment to sustainability and quality.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the end-to-end product development process for new beauty products, from ideation through to commercialization.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, consumer needs, and competitor products.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to create product formulas, packaging, and design that align with company goals.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure products are developed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors to ensure the quality and feasibility of new products.
- Develop and maintain detailed product documentation, including specifications, testing requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling product stories, packaging designs, and go-to-market strategies.
- Analyse product performance post-launch and drive continuous improvements based on customer feedback and sales data.
- Stay up-to-date with beauty industry innovations, ingredients, packaging technologies, and regulatory changes.
- Ensure that all products meet safety, quality, and environmental standards.
What You Need:
- 2+ years experience in the beauty industry in new product development, either own brand or retail.
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once.
- Be able to create and manage critical paths.
