The Talent Movement is supporting a specialist international engineering business as it strengthens its global commercial team. The company sells technical capital equipment internationally through a network of distributors and partners, supporting customers across advanced manufacturing industries worldwide.

To support continued growth, they are now appointing a Channel Sales Manager to take ownership of the global distributor network.

The opportunity

The business is now creating a dedicated role focused on developing and strengthening the distributor network to unlock further growth. You will take ownership of a well-established international distributor network, working with partners across multiple global markets to strengthen relationships, build pipeline and grow sales performance within their territories. International travel will form an important part of the role, expected to be around 40% annually.

Key responsibilities

  • Take ownership of relationships with international distributors
  • Support partners in building pipeline and winning business
  • Deliver product and commercial training where needed
  • Identify and onboard new distribution partners in strategic markets
  • Work closely with internal teams to support partner success
  • Provide market insight and feedback from distributors and customers

Experience likely to include

  • International sales of capital equipment or technical products
  • Managing distributors, resellers or channel partners
  • Building strong partner relationships across multiple regions
  • Supporting partners with training, commercial guidance and sales development
  • Comfortable with regular international travel

Package

  • £75,000 base salary
  • Bonus up to £25,000 linked to growth through the distributor network
  • OTE £100,000
  • 11% Pension contribution
  • Private Health
  • Generous leave package including Christmas shutdown
