Field Service Engineer - South Coast, UK

£30,000 starting salary + overtime + bonus (realistic OTE £38,000+)

Are you a technically skilled engineer with experience in electronics, lasers or medical devices? We are hiring a Field Service Engineer to join a growing, respected UK-based technology manufacturer that supplies cutting-edge medical and aesthetic systems across the UK and internationally.

You’ll be part of a supportive and expert service team, delivering vital technical support to hospitals, clinics, and distributors. From planned maintenance and installations to fault-finding and calibrations, you’ll play a key role in helping healthcare professionals deliver safe and effective treatment outcomes.

  • Full induction and technical training at HQ in Cheshire (initial 6 weeks plus ongoing development)
  • Opportunity for overseas travel, if desired
  • Trusted autonomy in managing your regional patch and customer relationships
  • Carrying out scheduled maintenance and reactive repairs on laser and IPL systems
  • Troubleshooting issues on site and delivering excellent customer support
  • Completing technical documentation in line with medical device regulations

Proven experience working with medical devices or lasers highly desirable, but not essential. Background in engineering, electronics, physics, or similar (degree or hands-on experience) essential. Strong communication and customer service skills. Comfortable working independently, with a full UK driving licence.

Basic salary of £30,000 - £34,000 depending on experience

~ Overtime (typically £5,000 - £10,000)
