Business Development Manager - (office & field Based)

Talent Magnet has partnered with an extremely ambitious and lucrative financial services business in the heart of Chelmsford City Centre.

They offer their partners and contractors various payroll and umbrella services which are extremely tax efficient.

Having been trading for over 12 years and turning over in excess of £2.5 million they are going from strength to strength.

Off the back of a new service launch they are now looking to create a standalone team consisting of 10 sales and business development executives.

There is an opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to join their Business Development team.

As a successful candidate you will be responsible for contacting new businesses and customers directly, offering a variety of payroll and umbrella services.

The role is an office and field based position where you will generate your own meetings aswell as have a dedicated appointment booker in office to propose the companies offerings to prospective clients.

The office environment is corporate yet still full of banter and not for the faint hearted.

It’s a youthful team of 20 odd individuals that are money motivated and who aspire to be the best.

You will be familiar with a KPI driven culture, high call times and self motivated as any good sales person is.

As the perfect candidate you will have at least 18 months experience in a payroll/umbrella services sales/ temporary recruitment environment.

Previous face to face or in-person business development experience is essential.

This partner is offering a competitive basic salary of £30,000-£35,000 + Commission

. A realistic earning potential in year one would be over £50,000.

In addition to this the business operates a casual Friday policy whereby all of the team swap the smarts dress for their casual wear if you are in office that day.

Top performers are rewarded with early finish Fridays

. Part of the inclusive package is 28 days paid holiday allowance.
