Are you an Infrastructure Engineer looking for a senior role? You will be working hands-on to maintain and improve multi-classified environments, supporting Linux and Windows systems, Azure/M365, VMware, and automation with Ansible or PowerShell. This role also involves patching, system triage, and enhancing Secure by Design capabilities. Experience with RedHat OpenShift, networking, and secure or protectively marked environments is essential, while skills in Kubernetes, Terraform, and DevSecOps tools are a plus.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain, improve, and secure multi-classified, virtualised, collaboration, and development environments.
- Support and enhance public cloud SaaS offerings (e.g., Microsoft 365) and project-based systems across public, private, and hybrid clouds.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks through formal change control processes.
- Monitor and manage ticketing and alerting systems; triage alerts and perform appropriate actions.
- Ensure systems are patched in line with vendor recommendations and security policies.
- Assess incidents, initiate return-to-service, and follow up with corrective actions.
- Identify trends and problems to recommend changes for improved stability and performance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of secure cloud, networking, and virtualisation technologies.
- Advise teams and project stakeholders on infrastructure and support aspects.
- Document knowledge and processes to support team and organisational learning.
- Contribute to business growth by supporting delivery excellence and client engagements.
