This role puts you on site at one of the busiest visitor attractions in the country, leading the team that shapes how guests experience it. It is a permanent hands‑on leadership role with real ownership, working for a specialist in multilingual, interactive visitor content for cultural sites, sports venues and attractions across the world.
Your New Role
- Leading Visitor Experience Team Leads and Assistants on the ground
- Owning recruitment, training, performance, rotas and payroll for the site team
- Acting as the key contact for the client, building a relationship at peer level
- Driving sales and take‑up rate, keeping the team proactive and confident when selling
- Setting a performance‑led culture by example, not instruction
- Balancing staffing and equipment levels against visitor demand and budget
- Taking responsibility for all on‑site equipment, furniture and uniforms, including loss prevention
- Tracking sales, inventories and staff hours, reporting on results and forecasting trends
- Responding to visitor feedback and solving operational challenges as they happen
- Keeping communication flowing between the site team and the wider business
Your Talents
You’ll have delivered visitor experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting and led large front‑of‑house teams to consistently high standards. You’re as comfortable in a client meeting as you are on the floor, building relationships with senior stakeholders while keeping day‑to‑day operations running smoothly. Rotas, resource planning and problem solving come naturally, and you communicate with clarity and warmth.
Why Apply
- Full ownership of a high‑profile site, from team to client relationship to commercial results
- A direct reporting line to the COO, giving your work real visibility
- The chance to shape the visitor experience at an attraction that welcomes guests from around the world
- Experience across people leadership, account management and commercial performance in one role
- A place in a business working with cultural sites and attractions internationally
