The Opportunity

We're delighted to be supporting our client, a market-leading manufacturer, in their search for a Senior Supply & Procurement Manager. This is a key leadership position within the business, responsible for developing and delivering supply chain strategy, driving operational excellence, strengthening supplier relationships and ensuring the seamless flow of materials across a complex international supply network. Working closely with senior stakeholders across Operations, Logistics, Product Management, Sales and Purchasing, you'll play a critical role in ensuring supply reliability, improving efficiency, reducing risk and supporting the continued growth of the business. What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing and delivering the overall supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and future growth plans
  • Leading and developing the Supply Chain function, creating a high-performing, collaborative and engaged team environment
  • Managing supply relationships across international suppliers, manufacturing partners and key stakeholders
  • Driving Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to ensure effective forecasting, inventory management and supply continuity
  • Overseeing procurement activities, supplier performance and service level agreements
  • Working closely with Logistics and Warehousing teams to optimise stock levels, inventory planning and operational efficiency
  • Identifying supply chain risks and implementing mitigation strategies to maintain service levels and minimise disruption
  • Using data, insight and performance metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cost reduction and process enhancement
  • Leading business improvement projects and supporting the ongoing development of systems, processes and planning tools
  • Building strong relationships across the wider business to ensure a joined-up and customer-focused approach

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience operating within a senior Supply Chain, Procurement or Operations leadership role
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to develop, motivate and engage teams
  • Experience managing complex supply chains, inventory planning and supplier relationships
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term planning with operational delivery
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience of ERP systems and supply chain planning tools
  • Knowledge of import/export processes and supply chain compliance
  • Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies would be advantageous
  • A collaborative leadership style aligned to a people-focused culture
