We're delighted to be supporting our client in the search for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their manufacturing site in Felixstowe.
This isn't a role where you'll simply keep HR running.
It's an opportunity to become a trusted advisor to the leadership team, develop manager capability, strengthen employee engagement and help shape the future of a busy operational environment.

The Opportunity
Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you'll provide end-to-end HR support while helping managers become confident, capable leaders.
You'll balance operational HR with strategic thinking, supporting a unionised workforce while driving continuous improvement across engagement, communication and organisational effectiveness.
This is a genuinely flexible opportunity, offering 22.5 hours per week, worked either across three full days or five shorter days to suit the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to development.
- Coach and support managers in all aspects of people management.
- Manage employee relations, including absence, disciplinary and grievance cases.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with union representatives.
- Drive employee engagement and communication initiatives.
- Support succession planning and workforce development.
- Lead HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with the leadership team to strengthen culture and organisational effectiveness.
What We're Looking For
- Proven HR generalist experience within a manufacturing, industrial or unionised environment.
- Strong employee relations experience.
- A coaching style with the ability to develop manager capability.
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills.
- Someone equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves operationally and contributing strategically.
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience), with Level 7 advantageous.
