We’re working with a well-established, Wolverhampton-based agency that’s known as the go-to staffing partner across the West Midlands. Originally a family-run business, they’ve grown into a close-knit team of 18 and continue to go from strength to strength. They’re now looking to hire two Account Managers to join the team, each supporting a different large, high-volume client account. This is not a sales role. You won’t be making cold B2B calls or expected to win new business. Instead, you’ll work closely with a Senior Consultant on one of their established temp accounts – combining candidate management with ongoing client support and account management. One of these roles requires a Punjabi speaker, to support a workforce on one of the client sites.

The Role:

You’ll play a key part in keeping your assigned client account running smoothly, supporting both candidates and the client day-to-day, including:

  • Speaking with candidates and potential candidates to assess suitability and explain available roles
  • Supporting candidates through the full recruitment process – screening, interview preparation, onboarding and compliance
  • Assisting with ID checks and Right to Work documentation
  • Managing job boards, filtering applications, creating shortlists and maintaining candidate records
  • Working alongside a Senior Consultant to manage the client relationship, including taking job briefs, providing updates and regular check-ins
  • Carrying out client contact and on-site visits to support workforce planning and service delivery
  • General admin to ensure a smooth and compliant recruitment process

This role offers a genuine mix of resourcing, candidate care and account management, with responsibility for a long-standing client that provides regular, repeat business. We’re open to speaking with both experienced recruiters and more junior candidates, and my client will tailor the role and level of responsibility accordingly. The salary range reflects this – the more closely aligned your experience is, the higher within the banding you can expect to be.

We’re looking for someone with at least 1 year of experience in one of the following:

  • Resourcing or candidate care within a recruitment agency (perhaps you’ve tried 360 but prefer the delivery/account side)
  • High-volume candidate support or employability-style roles (welfare to work, job coaching, talent support)
  • Internal recruitment or in-house roles managing candidate pipelines and processes

You’ll also need:

  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car (for on-site client visits)
  • For one of the two roles, the ability to speak Punjabi

What you’ll get:

  • Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 (depending on experience)
  • Office-based role with a genuinely supportive, friendly team
  • 4:00pm finish Monday to Thursday, 3:00pm finish on Fridays
  • Dress-down Fridays and relaxed dress in hot weather
  • Your birthday off – fully paid
  • Laid-back, fun, collaborative environment – non-corporate, people-first culture

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys candidate care but also wants to build strong client relationships and take ownership of a busy, high-profile account.
