This is a rare opportunity to break into apprenticeship sales - one of the fastest-growing sectors within education and training. If you’ve got experience within B2B new business sales and enjoy building relationships, opening doors, and speaking with businesses, this could be a brilliant opportunity to move into a sector with strong long-term career prospects.

The role is hybrid, with around two days per week working from home, and the rest of the week either office based or out meeting employers.

So, what are apprenticeships and what would you actually be selling? Apprenticeships are government-funded training programmes that allow employers to either upskill existing members of staff or hire new employees into the business whilst they train. This could mean helping a company train existing staff into management positions, supporting them with digital or technical skills gaps, or helping them bring new apprentice talent into the organisation.

You’ll be building relationships with businesses, identifying opportunities, discussing workforce needs, and generating apprenticeship starts for your employer - the training provider. You’ll inherit some existing accounts and warm leads, but a large part of the role will involve generating new business opportunities yourself through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, networking, and booking meetings with employers.

We are therefore specifically looking for people with at least 1 year of experience within B2B new business sales - selling products and/or services directly to other businesses.

  • Telesales or cold calling roles selling products/services to businesses
  • Outbound sales roles focused on winning new business accounts

Experience within education, training, or apprenticeship sales would be advantageous, but it isn’t essential - the apprenticeship side can be taught. Apprenticeship sales is a specialist market with strong long-term progression opportunities, making this a brilliant chance to move into a sector with real earning and career potential.

A strong communicator who enjoys relationship building and opening doors.

Someone motivated by targets and working within a sales environment.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

If you’re looking for an opportunity to break into apprenticeship sales and build a long-term career within the skills and training sector, this could be the perfect next step.
