This newly created role offers the chance to focus purely on business development and client relationship management, with no resourcing responsibilities – and you’ll continue earning commission on every placement made with the clients you bring in.
We’re working with a well-established, Wolverhampton-based recruitment agency well on its way to becoming the go-to staffing partner in the West Midlands. - No candidate delivery – the resourcing team fulfils the roles
- Mix of office based and on-the-road client meetings
- Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure a smooth handover
Who we’re looking for:
We’re particularly interested in speaking with people from a recruitment background who excel at winning clients and prefer the client side of the 360 process – focusing on sales and account management, without the responsibility of sourcing or placing candidates. We’re also open to candidates from a B2B business development background – particularly those who have experience selling solutions into fast-paced sectors like industrial, logistics, construction, manufacturing, or similar environments.
Examples include:
- HR or workforce management solutions
- Training or apprenticeship programmes
- Health & safety, compliance, or consultancy services
- Business services like waste management, on-site training, workforce tech, or fleet solutions
Essentials:
- Strong B2B or recruitment sales background
- Confident with lead generation, client meetings, and relationship management
- Excellent communication and commercial awareness
- Driving licence is essential
Perks:
- Car allowance up to £300/month, depending on experience
- 10% commission on all revenue generated – no threshold
- 4:00pm finishes Monday to Thursday, 3:00pm on Fridays
- On-site parking
- Dress-down Fridays and relaxed dress in hot weather
- Your birthday off – fully paid
- A non-corporate, collaborative culture – direct access to decision-makers, plenty of progression, and your ideas genuinely heard
If you’re ready to focus on what you do best – building client relationships and generating revenue – this is your chance to shape a new role within a respected and growing recruitment agency.
