Experienced Upholsterer or Sewing Machinist

My client has been manufacturing upholstery and luxury furniture for over 20 years now. With a trade-only client base, they work exclusively with interior designers, architects and specifiers both throughout the UK and internationally. Synonymous with quality craftsmanship, their wide-ranging furniture and upholstery projects span from boutique hotels and private residences, to 5* resorts and restaurants.

They are currently seeking a talented and experienced Upholsterer / Furniture Maker / Sewing Machinist to join their expanding Upholstery department.

Upholsterer Requirements:

– Previous Upholstery / Upholsterer / Sewing Machine experience from a commercial or manufacturing background- Proficiency in operating sewing machines and other upholstery tools- Experience interpreting technical drawings- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, as well as perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods of time- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accuratelyUpholsterer / Sewing Machinist Benefits:

This position is full time, working Monday – Thursday from 7.30am – 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm; 39 hours per week.
