A well-established bespoke furniture design and manufacturing business based in SW London / Surrey is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker / Joiner to join their workshop team. Operating from a purpose-built, modern production facility, the company designs and manufactures high-end freestanding and fitted furniture for a discerning client base. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bench joiner or cabinet maker who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and wants to work on premium bespoke furniture projects from concept through to installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture bespoke fitted and freestanding furniture to high-quality standards in a workshop environment
  • Assemble cabinetry and joinery components with precision and attention to detail
  • Install high-end fitted furniture on client sites to an exceptional finish
  • Prepare and finish furniture ready for spray application
  • Work accurately to technical drawings, cut lists, and agreed production deadlines
  • Collaborate closely with the wider production and design team, supporting across departments where required

Skills and Experience Required

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a cabinet maker, bench joiner, or furniture maker producing bespoke pieces
  • Solid carpentry and joinery skills with a high standard of workmanship
  • Experience working with veneer and laminate materials
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD-based furniture designs
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines in a busy workshop
  • Right to live and work in the UK (essential)
  • Fluent English (essential)
  • Joinery fitting / site installation experience (advantageous)
  • CNC machine operation experience (advantageous, not essential)
