Role description
We’re hiring an experienced Sealant Applicator or Surface Repair contractor to support hotel renovations including mastic work such as sealant applicator work or siliconing, surface repair to baths and shower trays, such as bath chip repair and bathroom restoration in and around Nottingham & West Midlands. Work includes sealant applicator tasks (mastic / siliconing), cosmetic enamelling repairs, and hard surface repair to baths, basins, shower trays, tiles, and panels. This is guaranteed, repeat work every Monday and Friday to supplement your existing work or part time for someone looking to wind down for retirement.
Surface Repair / Mastic Man Responsibilities
- Surface repair / bath repair: chips, scratches, cracks on baths, basins, trays, tiles, panels
- Sealant applicator / mastic man duties: remove and re-apply mastic; professional siliconing in wet areas
- Enamelling touch-ups and colour-matching to hotel standards
- Solo site visits across Nottingham; quality checks and tidy finish
You’ll need
- Self-employed setup with own transport and tools (van/car, hand/tools, etc)
- Proven experience in surface repair and/or bath repair (Magic Man / bathroom repair background welcome)
- Strong finish standards, reliable timekeeping, professional communication
- Sealant applicator / Mastic Man skills
- Confident enamelling and precise siliconing lines
- Surface repair and fine finishing expertise
