Based in Whitby, North Yorkshire, they are seeking an experienced Cabinetmaker and Team Leader to join their highly skilled workshop.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and participate directly in the creation of bespoke furniture commissions from the workshop floor
- Guide projects through to completion, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern woodworking machinery
- Lead, support, and motivate team members, setting and maintaining the highest standards of quality and precision
- Ensure every piece leaving the workshop exceeds client expectations
- Maintain a professional, positive, and productive workshop environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a highly skilled cabinet maker ideally time-served or formally trained
- Demonstrable leadership ability; you lead from the workshop floor, not from behind a desk
