Our client is a prestigious bespoke furniture and joinery workshop based in North London, producing exceptional commissions for some of the finest private residences in the world. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Programmer to join their specialist team working with Homag CNC woodworking machinery.
CNC Programmer Key responsibilities:
- Create, edit, and refine CNC programs from 2D technical drawings and 3D SolidWorks models
- Determine machining requirements, tooling, and sequential operations for each commission
- Assist with machine setup, testing, and trial runs
- Manage tooling databases and maintain structured libraries of CNC programs and setup sheets
- Recommend process improvements and support quality control activities
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of three years CNC programming experience in a woodworking or cabinetmaking environment
- Proven experience programming and operating multi-axis Homag CNC machines BHC, Centateq, or Weeke
- Proficiency in Homag software including WoodWOP or CutRite (essential)
- Strong knowledge of woodworking processes and materials MDF, solid wood, laminates
- CAD/CAM software proficiency
