Job Description:

Symphony has an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Client Account Manager (Graduate) to join the Client Solutions Team, working in both the New Build and Social Refurbishment Housing markets. The role will be covering the East of England, so you must be located in the Northamptonshire, North Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, or Cambridgeshire areas. You will be required to travel extensively through the area, with potential for overnight stays. You will join on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

About the Trainee Client Account Manager (Graduate) role:

We are looking to recruit a graduate to join the Client Solutions Team, working in both the New Build and Social Refurbishment Housing markets, as a Trainee Client Account Manager. The role will be covering the East of England, so you must be located in the Northamptonshire, North Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, or Cambridgeshire areas. Extensive travel within the region, including overnight stays, will be required.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Producing specifications for building new relationships and developing existing ones with clients, relating to mixed tenure new build developments and refurbishments, managing social housing refurbishment programmes.
  • Working closely with clients such as housing associations, councils, BTR providers to create specifications for schemes that meet budgets. Once approved, projects will be handed over to contractors or Skyline Teams.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key personnel within client teams.
  • Building a pipeline of new build developments and specifications for clients in the social housing sector.
  • Forecasting pipelines for new build work and refurbishment projects.
  • Conducting factory and marketing suite tours at Head Office to demonstrate Symphony\’s services and products.
  • Producing monthly reports on opportunities and sales.
  • Maintaining customer contact details to ensure records are up-to-date.
  • Managing the quotation tender process through to project delivery.

Candidate requirements:

  • A minimum 2:1 degree in Business, Engineering, or Design-related subject, achieved recently or within the last 2 years.
  • Ideally some experience in sales or construction.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • A strong desire to build customer relationships.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • A full UK driving license, due to travel requirements.
