To provide a full administration service for the main office under the direction of the School Business Leader. This to include:
- HR Support: Work with the HR Manager on all HR issues; specifically: working with Senior Leaders on absence and punctuality reporting and monitoring; run reports for staff absence/punctuality and submit to the HR Manager; monitor and set up probation meetings for staff as directed by the HR Manager; support HR processes including recruitment activities: advertising vacancies, arrange interviews, safer recruitment checks, submitting and collating references, and completing all required paperwork in line with HR file criteria; assist with closing accounts when staff leave (IT, security and SCR), set up HR files for new staff, and closing down and archiving of departing staff.
- Room Bookings: Take responsibility for room bookings across both Primary and Secondary sites; work with the exams team on booking venues; work with the whole school on booking of hall and conference rooms.
- Site Access: Under the direction of the HR Manager, manage the site access system across both sites.
- Staff Training records: Monitor staff completion of annual training requirements and report to the HR Manager.
- Uniform Shop: Support in shop when required and during busy summer periods.
- Reception: Provide support from reception when required.
- Other administrative duties: Undertake any other admin duties that are equitable with the pay scale.
- School engagement: Play a full part in the life of the school community, support the school's priorities and ethos and encourage staff and students to follow this example.
- Personal development: Undertake personal professional development activities, as agreed.
- Communication: Ensure front-line enquiries from staff, pupils, parents and visitors are dealt with promptly.
