Senior Finance Systems Specialist, 12 Month FTC, hybrid 2 days a week in the office (High Wycombe/Watford/London). We deliver an unparalleled range of services and solutions to clients worldwide spanning over 30 offices. The group’s acknowledged broadcast technology and production partnerships span major sports including EUOs, Olympic Games, Champions League and Premiership Football to name a few.
The Finance systems specialist will work closely with finance departments to assist in designing, improving and implementing finance systems, in addition to documenting processes and training staff.
Responsibilities/Targets:
- Ongoing improvement and development of Business Central including enabling functions not fully utilised (e.g., pricing plans).
- Assist in the migration of legacy entities onto Business Central, including testing and designing reports.
- Implement rebranding and reorganisational impacts on finance systems template redesigns, and company migrations.
- Ensure Business Central and supplementary systems are fully optimised.
- Assist in the implementation of a unified expense system.
- Apply knowledge to other business unit migrations to Business Central.
Requirements:
- Excellent communicator that can work with non-financial managers.
- Good understanding of financial accounting and processes.
- Open, analytical, and detailed approach.
- Ability to work to pressured timetables.
- Ability to build finance and non-finance relationships.
- Previous experience of using Sage 300, Business Central and Insphire would be helpful.
- Ability to work on their own initiative.
- Experience of multicurrency and multinational companies.
Additional Notes:
- Key areas are intimate knowledge of Business Central and ideally experience of a system switch and international exposure.
- Key focus on reducing reliance on our technical support provider to move that knowledge in-house.
- Proactive in pushing through development of the system and completing sub projects (e.g., new expense system and reporting tool).
- Someone who gives Group IT the confidence to make certain modifications and have certain privileges.
