We have an opportunity to lead our team of Casual Visitor Service Assistants at Fishbourne Roman Palace as a Casual Visitor Services Supervisor. You will have responsibility for ensuring that an outstanding visitor welcome is given to each of our visitors, and you will have a passion for providing the highest levels of customer service ensuring that our visitor areas are maintained to a high standard. You will want to maximise sales in our gift shop and support the recruitment of new members for our Society.
In this role, we are looking for someone with:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrable experience in presenting information to a wide variety of audiences
- Demonstrable experience in a museum, heritage, tourism, or customer-facing role
- Experience of cash handling
- A demonstrable interest in history/heritage
You will also need a flexible approach to work as our site is open 7 days a week and so some weekend working will be required.
