To provide technical support and training to KOREC UK Rail customers. This is a national role involving frequent travel to customer sites and offices, with occasional weekend and night work (time off in lieu provided). The role supports both hire and sales customers using Trimble Rail Solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing KOREC Rail customers.
- Deliver technical support and training to KOREC Rail customers to ensure effective use of Trimble Rail solutions.
- Support and conduct technical sales demonstrations where required.
- Collaborate with Sales teams to ensure customers receive the most appropriate solutions for their operational needs.
- Provide technical support and training to KOREC Sales and Support teams as required.
- Identify and generate opportunities for additional revenue through training, extended warranties and software updates.
- Liaise with Trimble to provide structured feedback that contributes to ongoing product development and improvement.
- Attend and actively participate in KOREC Technical Days and other internal events.
- Represent KOREC at industry events and trade shows.
- Support the creation and development of new technical training and support resources.
- Maintain continuous professional development to strengthen technical and industry knowledge.
- Demonstrate effective time management and maintain close coordination with the support team and wider business.
- Work flexibly to meet the operational needs of the business and its customers.
- Support company social media activity in a professional and respectful manner using approved platforms.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer and colleague queries.
- Undertake additional duties as reasonably required by the business.
- Comply fully with Health and Safety regulations to protect the business, employees and customers.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a rail engineering or rail survey environment.
- Exposure to Trimble GEDO solutions and software, or other track survey systems (full training will be provided).
- Strong interest in delivering Trimble Rail solutions to the rail industry.
- Flexible, proactive and adaptable approach with strong teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Willingness to travel nationally and work occasional evenings or weekends when required.
