J C White Geomatics Ltd are land surveyors based in Kent, with an unrivalled reputation. Although you may think of us as a small local company, you’ll find us surveying throughout the UK and even across the channel in France.

We use our exhaustive quality procedures to ensure client requirements are fulfilled and all survey plans produced are to a high cartographic standard. As highly experienced land surveyors, our extensive professional knowledge means we can advise and perform all Land Survey tasks related to aproject.

The Role

We’re growing and looking for an experienced and motivated Land Surveyor to join our busy and dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for conducting a range of survey tasks for an eclectic mix of projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure. You’ll work closely with our clients to deliver accurate, high-quality survey data that informs critical decisions at every stage of the project lifecycle.

Your day-to-day tasks will include carrying out a range of survey tasks, as well as producing detailed survey reports and drawings using the latest surveying technology and software. The role offers a mix of fieldwork and office-based tasks, and would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors as well as being part of a collaborative, professional team.

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years relevant survey experience
  • Self-motivated, resourceful & ability to problem solve
  • Technical understanding of Leica survey equipment along with limitations
  • Ability to apply survey knowledge to arrive at a practical solution
  • IT literate with survey processing and CAD
  • Experience of CAD & N4ce
  • Degree/HND/Diploma/TSA qualification in Land Surveying or similar
  • Salary commensurate with experience
